Personalisation
How do I add my personalisation?
On each product page you'll find fields to enter the name, date, message or photo you'd like. Add your details, double-check the spelling, and add to basket — what you type is what we make.
Will I see a proof before it's made?
[EDIT: Describe your process — e.g. 'For most personalised items we email a digital proof to approve before we begin.' If you don't offer proofs, say so here.]
Can I use my own photo?
Yes — for photo gifts, upload a clear, high-resolution image for the best results. We'll get in touch if anything looks too low-quality to print well.
Orders & turnaround
How long does it take?
Because every item is made to order, please allow [EDIT: e.g. 2–4 working days] for production before dispatch. Order early for special dates and the Christmas period.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Get in touch as soon as possible at thegiftstoriesshop@gmail.com. Once a personalised item has gone into production, we may not be able to make changes.
Shipping

Returns
Can I return a personalised item?
Because personalised, made-to-order items are created just for you, they're generally exempt from the standard right of withdrawal — so we can usually only accept returns on personalised goods if they arrive faulty or damaged. [EDIT: Confirm this and keep it consistent with your Refund Policy.] Non-personalised items can be returned under our standard policy.
